Victor started in the Telecom Industry in college, working part time in the CO environment. After Graduating in 1991 from St. Petersburg University (former Soviet Union), he held multiple positions all connected to telephony. He had worked as install Engineer for several years – installing PBX’s from different Manufactures: Nortel , Panasonic , NEC. After that he changed gears and worked as a Sr. Solutions Engineer for AVT – large Voice Mail manufacture. There he was involved in: Working with customers and engineering team on creating custom ACD, IVR and V.M applications. Providing business analyses and project management and support for complex installations Voice mail, desktop applications, and IVR/ ACD systems. For the 10 Years prior joining Microsoft he held a role of Sr. Manager of telecom engineering - In Charge of architecture and implementation of all telecom solutions for domestic and international office locations for Internap Network Services . In February of 09 he joined Microsoft as VTSP with Aspect – working with partner on creating and realizing opportunities for OCS Voice deployments worldwide. Most of the spare time Victor spends with his wife Renata and his two boys (Allan 18 and Mark 9). Victor also loves to go Snowboarding and play poker with friends.
